Lasting Legacy Monument

The Lasting Legacy Monument is a tribute to the past, present and future pioneers of the area. It was built and dedicated in 1989, during the West River Wagon Train Kickoff for the State of South Dakota's 100th Birthday. The plaques on the wall include the names of those who contributed to project; or, are in memory of loved ones.
