Railroad Crossing on S.D. Highway 73 Scheduled to Temporarily Close in Philip

 

PHILIP, S.D. – On Monday, July 14, 2025, the Rapid City, Pierre, and Eastern Railroad Company will be conducting railroad crossing replacement work on S.D. Highway 73 in Philip. The replacement is scheduled to take approximately seven days to complete, and the crossing will be closed to all traffic during operations.

Motorists should plan to use alternate routes during the project.
