Southwest Philip Improvements & Sunshine Drive Overlay Projects Information

Southwest Philip Improvements Project. Includes Oak St. from Larimer Ave./SD Hwy 73 to Philip Ave., Howard Ave. from Pine St. to Ash St., and West Ave. from Pine St. to Ash St.  The improvements will include the replacement of the sewer mains and service lines to the property lines; drainage/storm sewer; rehabilitation of the existing sidewalks, curb and gutter; and, the installation of new asphalt and/or concrete street surfacing. 

Sunshine Drive Overlay Project. The improvements include an overlay and rehabilitation to some curb and gutter.

*Construction progress meetings will be held weekly on Thursday's at 10:00 a.m. in the jury room, located on 3rd floor of the Haakon County Courthouse. 

Hydrant installation is planned for Wednesday, May 15th. During this time, properties on Oak Street, between S. West Ave. and Philip Ave., will not have water services. The contractor is estimating this to take place from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Thank you for your patience during this time!
